@coleens_ 24 years ago, in high school, we walked out of our classes on opposite sides of the hallway and found ourselves suddenly and awkwardly walking together.

We happened to be reading the same book series (The Wheel of Time), which she had seen me reading on and off that year, so we started talking. We had our first date within a week of that.

    TruEarth is also good for minimal packaging - I use their laundry detergent and toilet cleaner. A year's supply uses and incredibly small amount of packaging

    Sometimes I think about how had one of the best stories of any PS2 JRPG, but nobody really remembers or thinks about it. The Barows and Godwin families were both such interesting factions, and the depictions of courtly intrigue/skullduggery were excellent, especially for the time and medium in question.

    It's a damn shame how many creative works never get recognized the way they deserve to be. There's just too much stuff to laud all of it, I suppose.

    @doctorLURK The first one was actually my first Playstation game - bought it second hand from my friend's brother. The rest I received as gifts or purchased as they came out. Still have them all

    Wouldn’t it be amazing if there were something like Advil or Tylenol, but for emotional pain or ? For just a bad day or two? Most days, you’re fine. You can manage some minor pain. But sometimes, you need a little over-the-counter pain relief. So you take a temporary measure— two pills that relieve the pain for a few hours until you can get on top of it, every 6-8 hours until it passes.
    Big Pharma, please make this happen!

    @Julie I'm on regular meds to manage such things, but yes - this would be amazing if possible, even as an occasional supplement to my normal regimen.

    Still, I'm not sure how such a thing could exist and not be abused to the moon and back by the general public

    Accidentally kept playing my music after taking one of my AirPods out during my shift. This means everyone heard the video game music I was listening to (Xenogears Light, arranged by OneUp Studios) and several were like “i mean you could just play that out loud instead…” 🥰
