Political webcomic I quickly drew on my phone right below I step into the shower. Wild how self-deluded the "Biden and Trump are eQuAlLy BaD" self-centered privileged children are. It's easy to pretend like it doesn't matter who you (don't) vote for if you're not part of a marginalized demographic who will suffer far, far, far more at the hands of Trump (or are already suffering and somehow don't think it'll get even worse). The time to vote against Biden was in the primaries--in the general election, a third party or non-vote IS A VOTE FOR TRUMP, and no amount of smarmy foot-stomping is going to change this.

I know it's so much harder than not bothering to vote, but the way you stop the US from funding genocide is ORGANIZING, is physically showing up to protests, is continued calls and letters to your elected officials, is working AHEAD of voting day to #GetOutTheVote for your chosen progressive candidate. If not voting or wasting your vote is what will cause the "revolution" you dream of, then we would have revolted a long time ago. #voteBlue #voteBlueNoMatterWho

Just played #Helldivers2 for the first time in a couple of weeks, and I think we just had our first true encounter with griefers...one of them kept calling in air strikes everywhere we had to be at, and the other shot us any time we had samples, including right outside of the extraction point right as we were getting on ship.

We've been pretty lucky in helldivers so far, actually met a few people we sent friend requests to after because we got along great. I don't understand what enjoyment griefers get from making the game suck for others. Guess I'm not fked up enough 🙃

Idk... Maybe it's because I wasn't raised with male privilege, but I feel like if, say, a whole lot of PoC said they'd rather be alone in the forest with a bear than a white person, it'd prompt me to think about the levels of danger that PoC must face from white people to prompt that fear, and decide if it's warranted (it is). I wouldn't instead scream at PoC that they're wrong and clearly I'm the safer choice.

About to take Link to an orthodontic exam to see about getting him braces, because his front teeth are coming in crowded and crooked AF... I'm hesitant because it's already hard to get his teeth properly cleaned enough to prevent cavities, but if we wait until his permanent teeth come in, they will be even more crooked, and crooked teeth are hard to brush, I would know 😭 I'm still so mad I went through years of braces myself, but because my mom got this stupid giant "mouth guard" I was supposed to keep biting down on instead of a retainer I could just keep on between meals, they got all crooked again 🙃

I don't care about crooked teeth from a visual appearance, I agree with Tiffany Ferg that expecting perfect teeth is classist. I just don't enjoy how hard it is to get crooked teeth to stay cavity free.
