I think it is difficult to disagree that test driven development is bad thing, but I completely understand why most #drupal folks (that I see, at least) don’t practice it. What takes time (IMHO) is getting into the mindset of it and getting good at it. It is a skill to be learned, like any other.

Building a new personal Drupal site for the first time in a very long time and I'm looking for a theme. It seems there are base theme kits but I don't see much for "I want something that looks like a blog, but a little fun". Is that the reality? I'll need to do a bit of my own custom design work, then?

One of the coolest demos I saw at DrupalCon Portland was “Collaborating Editing in Drupal Core” from the @palantir folks. Think Google Docs on a node edit page. - in every field, no less!

Interesting tidbit from the #DrupalCon Portland 2024 module development workshop that I taught: of the 21 students who were there at the beginning of class, almost half of them used remote IDEs almost exclusively!

6 students used local #DDEV or #Lando day-to-day.

Quite the surprising mix of students (at least in my recent experience!)
