I'm glad to see people finally starting to comment on these things more everywhere: Why again are we worshipping rich celebrities? I love creativity, I enjoy good beats and I think fashion can be a wonderful way of expression. But why do we worship rappers bragging about private jets? Why is it normal that insane amounts of money are spent at events like the Met Gala when ... well. Look at the world. I want to hear songs bragging about using power for good, not jets.

@chuls I have the same issue with ultra-rich ex-athletes. Case in point: Earvin "Magic" Johnson, who as of last year is said to be worth upward of $1B. Dude was a phenomenal basketball player and is my all-time favourite and if he's got more money than he can spend in a lifetime, cool. He's 64, say he lives to 104, then 40 million in the bank enables him to spend a million a year until he passes. But a billionaire? That's a failure of society.

There is a blackbird in my back yard that's been going absolutely fucking mental in the last half hour. Turns out it was trying to convince a crow to leave.

My kids' basketball coach periodically reminds parents that they (the parents) are in the stands to cheer on the whole team, not to shout unqualified and confusing instructions to individual players. And also that the players are under 10, so spectators are advised to chill.

She's brilliant.
