Ya some things seem to not be federating right now for some reason. I can still see them, tho. Older threads.

Thanks also @piotrsikora!

From what I have read, this person has been blowing the whistle for multiple years. Something changed, recently. Not good. Not cool. It is sad.

So maybe Mel Brooks got some DNA work done while writing Spaceballs.

Rock Star Blasts MAGA, Calls Trump 'Greatest Swindler in History' (www.newsweek.com)

Casey’s expletive-laden rant continued, “You’re being duped by a bunch of grifters and billionaires who don’t give a shit about you or your family. They care about their fucking tax breaks and the money they can put in their pocket. If you consider yourself a patriot and you’re spouting off that election-denying shit,...

Since you are a man well into your forties, we’d like to bring to your attention the shocking silliness of your username

As someone in their earlier forties, I feel a little called out 😅 not sure I can prance for very long 😬 I don't preach the prance, tho.

I work in trails, like what you might walk on, and in the rare case I need pi, I use 3.14. This week, we have a meeting to talk about some things on 14 March. I will be using cornbread because I do not know how to make a pie but I will eat the pie others make. I look forward to this meeting.

I am curious how a passenger would have access to do such a thing. The A350 is big enough to have one of those moving tunnels connect to the door, ya?

I both agree with you and disagree. I agree that having a long term plan (beyond one year) would be amazing, but I disagree that essential things will always be paid. That is actually true, you are right, but the problem is that these other things that are, essentially, essential, will become nonessential. They just do not get done. And both the "customers" and the employees are expected to deal with it. It is a public-private pipeline. I hate it. For openness, I am a federal employee.

I understand! I did go to Elko for work today, I couldn't see it but I guess there is one car left and definitely some corn haha.

rhythmisaprancer,
rhythmisaprancer avatar

Oh my gosh I'm sorry, I can't see it is posted but I can see your comment. I am sorry. I will see what I can do.

rhythmisaprancer,
rhythmisaprancer avatar

It's true. I haven't been to Elko since before it happened, but I understand the cars are still there. I didn't mean to make it sound like it had just happened, sorry for the confusion 🙂 big deal in a small town haha. Thankfully it is just corn. And a possibly damaged bridge and track.

Ok I think I fixed it. I want Amtrak to overperform, not me...

I think this description, with essentially anything, is a great description of Hipsters. "You can look, but you can not touch" personified.

That is just the egg white. Like @Kolanaki said, change your temp and use some type of fat. If it happens on the lowest setting, you could have a burner issue. Or maybe you need to learn your new skillet. Perfectly acceptable 🙂

Be well, I hope you find your own good news!

Well after reading that, I now wonder how many dry foods are packaged in paper lined with this stuff. Like my flour.

You know, this isn't the first time I have lost a ref to that series, and probably won't be the last. I need to work on that! I am prime age to have seen all of them, in the theater. Many years now of not getting it...

Thanks for the follow up!

I don't get the reference, but it is kind of neat only reading /kbin posts. I feel like we have pretty good up time even if some of that uptime isn't perfect. I'm not perfect either, but I'm pretty glad to have my uptime!

Well my laptop does not stand up to this haha. It reminded me of 2002...

Thanks for sharing! So glad they had a tiny desk.

This is interesting. I last rode the Southwest Chief in 2018, last minute, no problem. It was empty, ish, until somewhere in Missouri. A lot of commuters in Illinois. I had an empty seat next to me until about that time. I guess it is different now. I got on in Albuquerque.

That was an exciting read! Pretty neat how quickly steps were taken to attempt prevention of further damage.

I guess I can understand what you are saying. I have lived out of my vehicle off and on for about ten years, and having a full tine, good "chopping" knife that I can sharpen with what I might use on a shovel is really nice. I have had the same maine knife for 15 years. It is ok. I don't have to work on it much. It says "Chicago Cutlery" on it. It has been put up wet, been used in snow, and I have no money invested in it. It works great.

I also worked in a kitchen once, with really nice knives, it isn't that nice. But it was cheap. Full tine, and not that weird serrated but not serrated.

In my mind, it is a challenge when I have to navigate a touch screen to change the heat setting on this new work vehicle 🤨
