I really feel like all devices should be unlocked. They can be carrier independent, FCC should make it so. Do bootloader, also, although not related to the carrier.

You might be able to use the snotel interactive map, it isn't always easy to figure out but can tell you a lot of information if you can get it. Easier to use on a computer. Not relevant if you are looking for trails that would be snow free in winter. Probably.

Here is an article from The Guardian that is about a similar topic but may not touch on all the issued. It isn't a long read and may not cover as much as an hour show.

Who is it?

rhythmisaprancer,

Haha that's bizarre

I agree that this sends some mixed messages. I understand that executive branch employees (for example, people who work in national parks) cannot use tiktok in an official capacity, so this is an interesting decision for sure. An explanation of how this is different would make sense. I'm sure parks would like to meet younger folks "where they are" as well.

I have to admit I didn't know what cat paths were, and am still unsure, but after seeing cat shelves I'm looking forward to finding out!

rhythmisaprancer,
rhythmisaprancer avatar

Haha that sounds like a lot of fun for the cats! I hope it's fun to build, too. I'm curious what your dogs will think.

I understand what you are saying, I don't know that I taste it, even in the same batch that others do. My thoughts are it comes to experience. I don't use olive oil, or butter, alone, just in cooking, but if I sample it, it always tastes fine. But with tea, then ya, it was too hot water, or over steeped. But I do drink a lot of tea. Maybe we both could benefit by going to some tastings. And bring some rancid oil with us to compare? Not sure how popular we would be ☠️

I just worry that it'll switch from Republican obstruction to Hungarian obstruction

Poignant observation. I wonder if anything will change with the undoing of the president and the reasons behind.

I would speculate it has to do with his attempts at erasing his early band member's contributions.

Summer-like conditions with record temperatures lead to first Wisconsin tornadoes in February (apnews.com)

EVANSVILLE, Wis. (AP) — The first tornadoes ever recorded in Wisconsin in the usually frigid month of February tore through mostly rural areas on a day that broke records for warmth, setting up the perfect scenario for the type of severe weather normally seen in the late spring and summer....

I am noticing a slow increase in conservative folks and their ability to accept climate change, and even to change themselves, bit I live in a very remote area where they depend on water and such from the land. They will still vote for Trump, tho. I can at least have a conversation with them, but it takes SO MUCH TIME to really win people over, and we don't have that time. Most of these people, i think it will be another five years before I get then on my side. At least they listen, I guess?

rhythmisaprancer,
rhythmisaprancer avatar

Ya, pretty much. I'm excited they will listen to me, someone they know as a left person, but it's a huge obstacle to overcome. But, I'm willing to do it because what other option do we have? Or do I have, as a regular person? Beyond, you know, just voting... I feel compelled to change minds. It's hard.

Side note, I was born in Powell, Ohio. Don't know much about it, that's what it says on my birth certificate. It's been weird here in NE Nevada, also. Above freezing at night 😬

rhythmisaprancer,
rhythmisaprancer avatar

I agree. It's the one thing I have power over, tho. I'm not sure what the end goal is, perhaps more folks will understand why they were wrong when their house burns down or washes away. Probably a fruitless task 😐

rhythmisaprancer,
rhythmisaprancer avatar

Ya agree wholly. I'm definitely not going to push others to do it! We're not likely to get back to even "now" for a long time. Probably generations.

Indeed, I suspect most people who identify as Marxist would not identify as Democrat.

Indeed

Ya, the images showing her eye definitely don't show the cap being as prominent. But that eye, specialists might be curious. I am most certainly not a specialist 🙂 essentially, it was folks like you that caught on to that with finches in thr first place! I'll stop bugging you about it haha

Thanks, I always wondered about the Moor connection.

The president seized 1% of El Salvador's population. Their children pay the consequences (apnews.com)

Tears welled in Alex’s eyes and he pressed his head into his hands as he thought about more than a year of birthdays and holidays without his mother, who was swept up by El Salvador’s police as she walked to work in a clothing factory....

From what I have read, it depends on who you ask. Like you say, it is so complicated and we could benefit from some local voices. I think? Maybe hard to say.

FDA repeatedly rejected safety claims made by Philips after the CPAP recall but waited to alert the public, emails show (www.propublica.org)

As Philips reassured patients that millions of recalled machines were safe, internal emails show federal regulators privately told the company its testing didn’t account for the impact of long-term harm from tainted devices....

Gosh, my mom has used one of these for roughly 25 years. There weren't options then, but I wonder what she uses now. I'll have to ask. Dad has one now, also.

rhythmisaprancer,
rhythmisaprancer avatar

This is kind of frustrating, my mom has used one since about 2000, I don't remember that one being loud but it made noise. How loud could they be? Maybe I shouldn't complain as a non user.

rhythmisaprancer,
rhythmisaprancer avatar

Ah well probably relevant that my folks have slept in different rooms since early 90s and mom had already had a trip to the hospital relating to not breathing at night. Maybe the sound was easily overlooked and I just don't remember it.

I've only met one Russian immigrant who felt comfortable talking about Russian people, and they definitely said something like this, among other things.

I'm not sure how to request that one since it has an active owner. I did request another that was available.
