@FediPact The team might have good intentions, but their bosses/owners and the parent corporation Meta absolutely don't. And we know well whose way it is in the end. Too bad the team does not see this or maybe they choose to ignore it which is even worse.
i just really wanted fediforum peeps to know about FediPact since it seems like that's mentioned so much less when talking of meta's threads these days
there used to be whole articles about it, now "skepticism about threads joining the fediverse" is only ever mentioned in passing
it's almost like the uncomfortable contributions of marginalized women get swept aside and ignored consistently in life lol

Generally, the FediForum organizers and most enthusiastic participants are pro-Meta so they won't be inclined to promote FediPact (or for that matter, the concerns of marginalized communities). But now is a good time for all of us to kick up dust again. We're still here and we're not changing our minds about Meta!
