wait, I see that as !Help as a link but on kbin. social it was expanded to https://kbin.social/m/Help. Now I'm even more confused, we're on the same platform
yes it turns into a url on kbin if you post it on fedia (on fedia it is a clickable !name), but when i do it over here, it does simply turn into !name, not a link ;)
Even with the domain, though? Just want to make sure you're typing !Help@kbin.social and not !Help, as I think the full domain is required. I should get an activitypub client so I can look at the raw events at some point...
Interesting, I now see that text has the class mention--unresolvable... Hmm, I hate to ask more of you but just to double check, do you mind doing it as Help with a capital H, just in case it's a case sensitivity issue?
ah now i see my message on fedia.. multiple times ups..
that's just fedia life... I do think it's related to edits or at least posts not matching at some level, but threads and posts are constantly duplicated / triplicated over here. If you're luck and it's not just 500'ing 😔
