My greatest worry about is that people could be so goddamn stupid, that they would miss the situation where a movement in would take power using the threat of .

People would miss it, because fascism is always about being violent from a fear victimhood. And we teach this wrong: we just talk nazi bad, hitler bad, but any threat that allows one to paint the outsider as a monster without humanity will do.

It’s the same even if targets change.

@gimulnautti

Like when you use Nazi inversion stereotypes on Jewish people.

When you decide is evil, you're generalizing, and refusing any alternative Jewish viewpoints on the definition.

What is this evil "far right"?

@justicesandwich Hi. Actually I am not doing that. Hamas is the one that shot first. During 1940’s to 1970’s it was Arabs who opposed the proposed two-state solution. They tried to destroy the newly-formed Israel and Hamas still believes in that. Stupid motherf****s.

However. Justice in the past does not automatically guarantee justice in the present. Fascism uses real injustice from the past to justify injustice in the present. It did that in Italy & Germany, and can do again.

@gimulnautti

There's no racism in a democratic country. You disagree with policy, but to compare this government to one that publicly shot people for dissent is not even close.

@justicesandwich I am speaking about political alignments, because they do not take sides according to historical facts.

Political alignments are ways of looking at how power should be distributed and used.

You are looking for ”evil”. But what is evil is a contruct of how the political current you are in defines itself as ”good”.

You are looking for details, I am looking at structure.

In the same thought I believe in right for a jewish homeland and that it can turn bad.

@gimulnautti

You can dance around with word choice, but what you wrote can be summarized as this:

often use for their own political gain

That is the structure of what people are saying.

If you want to learn about racism you have to learn and accept what the minority is sharing.

You do not get to choose what is not racist for

It's your responsibility to defend your citizens, is it not?

@justicesandwich You have twisted my words into something they are not, and you are wrong to do that.

I am not here to throw punches.

My job is to be the eyes and ears you cannot have, because you are personally affected by your friends and family being under mortal threat.

Because of that threat, you can only see me as the enemy, and I understand why.

You do not undetstand me now, but when this is over, you might.

Yuval Noah Harari does. Listen to him, he can speak to you.
