@tanquist LOL I use AltText because I learned early from a blind friend and removed the long emoji list after my name, so it didn't read them to the visually impaired on every reply. I try to be creative in my descriptions, unless it's a fast photo between two, I might be shorter in my description.
TBH, I'm like that woman. I don't understand emoji or icons. I don't see what they mean, and i use a PC, so I don't know emojis at all. But a typed 4 does with a dot at the top, looks like sitting

@Rasta it’s a little unnerving having everything in blossom in February we’re all wondering what kind of summer we’re going to get I live in a place that can be roughly translated in English as Furnace County it’s always been warmer than the surrounding villages I’ll end up sleeping in the grotto in July
@Pierrette We are fortunate enough in the summer to be next to the ocean, and I've had to wear long-sleeves when there was a heat wave in the city, and even as close as 1km away, was unbearable. I've never used AC (yet)
@Rasta yeah I’m not going to have AC not until we’ll have the money to get photovoltaic and produce our own energy we have that in the care home we work in
@Pierrette We have a heat pump, that after winter heating, can be turned the other way for AC cooling. But, I shut it off in the summer, I'm at the summer home. And I had a Window AC for out there, brand new, in the box still. Never needed it
@Pierrette they work pretty good ,but we use a little propaganda to sell them, so everyone goes green. They tell you what you will save, the same amount as yearly cleaning but if they are generating electricity with fossil fuels, what green saving are we really producing?
