President Biden is announcing $8.2 billion in new federal funding for 10 passenger rail projects across the country.

I’m not against trains, in fact I personally kind of like them, but I’m skeptical that they’re actually a good use of money given that we already have a bunch of roads built in the US.

But we tend to find ourselves agreeing more often with parties that espouse liberal values, internationalism and centrist economics, such as the Democrats in the US, Liberal Democrats in the UK, FDP in Germany, Renaissance/MoDem in France, the Liberal Party in Canada, and so on.
