Seems their monitoring wasn't to good.
This is also just one company selling automotive chat bots. A quick google search, shows lots of companies trying to sell these chatbots, Using their demos on thier own site. A few of these were vulnerable to the same types of fun.
I am sure a more dedicated search , than my bit of time wasting on my phone on a Sunday, would result hundreds of similar chatbot companies marketed to various industries, having the same issues.

White posted screenshots of the exchange to Mastodon, where it generated thousands of likes and reposts. Hours later, someone else copied and reposted his screenshots on X, where it went viral.
@petes_bread_eqn_xls Yes, yes we were, ha ha. Back when I was active on the site-formerly-known-as-Twitter, actually made a lot of things go viral (due to how many people following me who also had large followings). Going viral not being more important to me than not feeding the alt-right racist trash fire that is that site now, not caring to do that at all. Mastodon actually is at parity now with what's going there, my "For You" feed over there was the same posts as I had seen over here first when I spot checked it yesterday.
@me_valentijn@stoneymonster Well, really, AI overapplied... You could just put together a simple script that says: "I'm sorry, I'm not able to answer detailed questions about our vehicles. Would you like to have a member of our sales team contact you?" for every answer.
