Amongog, 11 months ago I've just migrated from Reddit and after two days I think i finally get it. It's like a group of Reddit servers all connected. That's it. If you need to explain further: A group of Reddit servers, all (mostly) connected, each with their subreddits, and you can see them all. Kbin would be a special Reddit client that can connect to these groups of servers and also provide Twitter-like capabilities for its subreddits. No need to complicate it with fancy words like Federated and what not. Just ooga bunga, easy concepts.
