It's a buffer zone (so not really taking more land for themselves, more like reducing the Gaza side) to better prepare for blitz terrorist attacks like the one on oct 7. Makes a lot of sense to me. Should Palestine show will to establish a democratic, civilized authority over its land, I'm sure that could change (like the Israeli disengagement in 2005...).
Still waiting for something as basic as group tabs.
The current implementation in Chromium-based browsers is miles ahead of what any add-on can do in Firefox.
They need to get their shit together.
For my particular use, I do constantly switch between vertical/horizontal tree tabs, so this functionality is quite important for me.
Also, though containers work similarly to these chromium ones, I do like that I have, for example, a Study Queue group container that is not a tab itself, it just expands if I click it.
I wasn't able to replicate this the same.
And yeah, the color coding is nice as well.
That's why I wish Firefox would implement something native with similar capabilities. This feature alone is what made me go back to chromium browsers.
Hi, I canโt get enough D&D, so was wondering if someone could suggest a computer game that involves actual role-playing, like making a character with personality where interacting with the world based on that personality matters? Iโve tried some of the traditional D&D games (like DDO), and there is essentially no...
Larian did an incredible job with that game and it's truly a masterpiece. If you have friends, you can play online co-op and have a blast.
And if you have a SO, make sure to try it out as well! The split screen implementation for this game is amazing, and the controller support is second to none.
In fact, I switched from M+K to the controller just because it was so much better.
By the time you're done, Larian Studio's Baldur's Gate 3 will have been released (Aug 3rd), and it seems it's going to 1-up every other RPG out there by a mile!
I hope they can implement the same controller scheme and split screen system with BG3 as well, since it's so much better for couch co-op.
Iโm sure most of us have had an absolute white-knuckled drive through a terrifying road - whether itโs a terrifying mountain switchback or just a poorly designed miserable highway. Go nuts!
And yeah you drove by the Cerro de la Muerte (Death Mountain) at night. That's a big no-no!
That road is always almost coveted with fog (even during the day).
I would say this road is second most dangerous after Route 32. And yeah, Route 32 is the worst offender here. It cuts through one of our biggest national parks. It has no business there, and mother nature is always trying to reclaim that lost strip.
Always avoid doing long trips during the night in Costa Rica, especially if you're not a local. We have very narrow and poorly maintained roads.

When you create a new thread (in Kbin), you can apply tags to it before posting.
Are these tags doing the same thing as hashtags, or are they more like the ones in Reddit?
I currently use Android and I'm happy with it.
I'm not a tinkerer by any means, but I do enjoy a fair bit of third-party apps.
The lack of side-loading in iOS is the deal breaker for me, but should this be added, I would 100% try it out.
Yea, that would be great.
Though I've also heard they plan to keep it EU-only for compliance.
I hope it doesn't go like that and the feature gets enabled globally.

If it's despair because of the state the society is in, I could see someone targeting children to 'spare' them from what awaits them.
It's the same reason some parents kill themselves and their children when commiting suicide.
It's fucked up.
When the whole Reddit fiasco started happening, I saw a lot of people wiping and deleting their Reddit accounts and moving elsewhere, like here on Lemmy....
Kbin is a different software than Lemmy, although similar.
It has only been around a few months (unlike lemmy that has years in development).
It offers what seems to me a more centralized view of the fediverse, with federation to lemmy servers and mastodon servers as well.
It has access to the microblogging feature, that is like sending a toot from mastodon.
I've found it to be a more familiar experience to Reddit, and honestly, I prefer it over lemmy.
Due to it being so new, it has many missing features lemmy might have, like mobile apps (the API is still not public, and it's being worked on).
HOWEVER, Kbin has a great community backing it up.
I'm currently posting this from the amazing Artemis beta app for Kbin, the first of its kind.
This is due to the incredible job @Hariette has done!!
