Reddit subreddits to corresponding communities/magazines
Just wanted to list a website that’s keeping track of some alternatives being made per subreddit.

zebus, That one’s handy, this one also good:
https://redditmigration.comAnd these good for some general browsing:

Sheerfire96, so I saw that website, but what's weird is I can't access most of them when I try to search for them?
I'll click communities at the top, switch my filter to all, and then search for specific communities and can't find them. For example according to this list there is an amateur radio instance (I think that is the right word?). When I click it I am lead to it but it logs me out. When I search for it under communities though I cannot find it.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there something I'm not grasping about this?
Calcharger, In my opinion, until our numbers are large enough, we should be bringing content to more broad magazines instead of sitting alone in niche communities. Spreading put will make the fediverse seem empty and discourage more people joining. Coalescing in larger, more broad mags will show that there is a robust, active community, and it also may introduce people to new topics they would have otherwise missed.
But I'm not your dad so do you :)
YoBuckStopsHere, I moved r/ColoradoPolicies over to m/ColoradoPolitics. Small but every bit helps.

I try. I created this magazine
https://kbin.social/m/NihonFalcom
I try to keep posting stuff, and ask for feedback, as I want this to work
https://kbin.social/m/NihonFalcom/t/26090/So-what-do-we-do
https://kbin.social/m/NihonFalcom/t/35763/Leave-your-feedback-hereBut no luck
Also, this magazine
https://kbin.social/m/ShinMegamiTensei
But I had an accident and I've been 2 days out, so no content posted. Also, I can't be 24/7 here, I have a life to take care too. I do what I can, even if it's just a little compared to other users
Saturdaycat, I'm signing up for both!
Gordon_Freeman, thanks!
Saturdaycat, I will have to think about what to add for a while, but I'm definitely going to try to participate !
CynAq, I don't have any interest in the content but I will boost and comment for a few days to see if it helps.
You can also boost and like yourself to give it some initial juice. Don't be shy as you're trying to build something from scratch.
I can also recommend hitting some similar but more active communities on other instances and cross post some stuff with the links to your magazines. Some people might show interest.
kool_newt, .rehab is a TLD? lol
V699, so many domain ideas now
DerpyPoint, I'm discovering so many weird TLDs from all the Lemmy/kbin instances lmao
