Google's still delisted my 100% hand wrtitten site for "pure spam".
I'm looking at my "toxic links" in SEMRUSH and I was told not to bother to disavow these (unless I actually paid for links, which I have not) but there are a lot more than there were.
Almost all of them are either scrapes of my content and/or hotlinking my images though (which cloudflare blocks?).
I hate SEO, so disavow yes/no? Shouldn't matter, but I shouldn't be marked as spam. IDK.
3rd party SEO tools are useless for this kind of analysis. And their ideas of "toxic links" are nonsense.
You should look at what Google Search Console is telling you.
Also, Google's March 2024 update can take up to a month to roll out. It's going to do all sorts of crazy things in that time. Many of them will be reversed without people having to do anything.
Don't disavow links. That will just end up hurting you even more.

@michael_martinez Search console isn't telling me ANYTHING. It says "pure spam" as in "pure giberish, worst kind of spam" and nothing else. Which is blatantly false and easy to confirm with a quick look. I have no idea what they're talking about.
Best guess is they saw AI/scraped content from my site and blocked the original along with the scrape.
@SirTapTap you may as well disavow them. If Google thinks these links are being used by you for promotional reasons, that may be a ban reason.
Then again, my best advice is to try and get someone from Google involved on Twitter or Hacker News or some other service they use. Sadly, tech support now is often “find someone who can actually raise the issue internally”
@CM30 Yeah there's no "get a human" option on search console, posted on their forums but that seems to only be other confused web masters. Allegedly the review process IS real humans but can take WEEKS and my search traffic is currently literally 0.
I can't imagine they'd think I paid for these, they're mostly rgsdfgsdfg.firebase.app/free-genshin-lewds/ etc but w/e, I uploaded a batch
I did this once years ago but removed the last another couple years ago. Never seemed to matter either way
