@gamingonlinux kind of neat - my deck came with a single dead Pixel that I haven't bothered to do anything about, been saving it as justification for upgrading the screen 😀

@gamingonlinux Both this and the DeckHD screen claim that they match the originals 60Hz refresh rate, but the original is a 40-60 hz variable refresh rate screen.

Do these do that? Who knows.

Yes, you can turn it down to 40, but you can do that with all screens through software, it isn't a built in feature of the screen.

@pieceofthepie @gamingonlinux slight correction, but the deck display isn't VRR, it just can be underclocked to 40hz. While I cannot say for sure if other screens for the deck can, under clocking and even over clocking monitors is a fairly common feature for monitors
