It was going pretty well, but then I couldn't avoid that ambush in the 24th level dungeon. It's lost (7 HP only)! Inventory emptied of potions and other banishment scrolls.. Argh!!
Yeah! So close..
These last levels are particularly difficult. And if you get stuck surrounded by enemies, it gets very complicated. You empty your inventory very quickly.

I'm looking for more like this one for MSDOS.What game, or games inspired you to dev this one?
@WoodooProd This one was originally designed for the 16k ZX Spectrum, hence the simplicity. It was inspired by various graphical and text-based roguelikes. The games I wrote later (available mostly from the same places as Ossuary) are scaled more to the IBM PC.
There's quite a bit of DOS development going on. You can find a lot of 21st century DOS games on the https://doshaven.eu/ web site if you have a taste for more.
@WoodooProd I have a couple of projects on at the moment. One super secret project, and one less secret (a DLC expansion for Barren Planet). An eye infection has halted development for now, but hopefully that'll be dealt with at some point.
