@Great_Albums Years ago I thought, hey, I just came up with an idea! Do a band where the vocals are all in English but are just seemingly random words and phrases, simply matched for the sound they create and how well they fit with the emotion and melody! And then I found out about Cocteau Twins. D'oh!
@Great_Albums Also, there was a degree of this kind of lyric-making with 1970s Yes, who often chose words that sounded like good fits for Anderson to sing.
