Not much time today, but here's rendering vertical slices of the world for x-scrolling fillup buffers. Horizontal version is next.

I'll start with the dumbest thing that works - rendering the full strip on demand. But the routine can handle arbitrary heights so it shouldn't be too much of a stretch to spread strip filling over a number of frames if it's too slow.

Ordered some parts to get my second A500 up and running. It's to be used at Amiga Ireland in January for the Rogue Declan competiton 😁

Hopefully I'll have the other A500 ready in the special edition Scourge of the Underkind case I won in the AmiGamJam!

First, though, I need to repair that broken pin on the HC333...

Les jeux vidéos sont de plus en plus gourmand en ressource et en théorie plus beau d'année en année. Mais je trouve que beaucoup de studios échouent dans leur gestion des très haute résolution de nos écrans actuels. Tout manque de netteté, leurs GUI sont écrite trop petit, trop flou.

Sur un les textes étaient bien lisible, une police de 9 pixels de haut c'était bien. Une police de 9 pixels de haut sur un full HD ou plus, aie aie aie.
