The death date of #GooglePodcast is getting nearer, the implementation of podcasts in Youtube Music is surprisingly bad (I don't want them mixed with my music library, as they are completely different). So, what would be good alternative (preferable no extra login requirement) for podcasts in #android? Something I can live with, until returning to iPhone and iTunes (not an option at the moment) at some point in the future.
@oletsu@AntennaPod main reason was no extra accounts needed to use google podcasts. Main features I need: subscribe, download, hide listened and sort by release. Also import external rss feeds too, as I really don't want to be restricted only those published into platform. Anything over that is just bonus.
Oh yeah, no ads or monthly payments requirements (one times and donations are ok).
Actually, @oletsu thank you! This @AntennaPod was basically everything I was looking for. Only missing feature is "sort by latest first" (at least, didn't find it yet). But that mostly affect in situations when starting new subscription.
This is pretty lovely actually, specially no need to create accounts etc, just download, import opml, start to listen. Basically move from gpc to this was done in less than 15 minutes (including marking all the already listened episodes). Mi laiki 💯❤️
