I like the auto-bumping when I am using the "hot" sorting option, provided the bumps are for posts that are actually hot. I have noticed that the sort appears to be point-in-time and any new post is bumping....
I keep seeing "502 Bad Gateway" when trying to browse lemmy.ml, and after turning on proxy in my browser it works instantly, after a few tests it seems that lemmy.ml has issues with IPV6....

This is something I can’t seem to figure out. Let’s just assume that 3rd party apps are the reason reddit is losing money. So, it would make sense that reddit wants to start charging for their API access. But why is the burden on the apps and not the users?
I'm running a standalone Lemmy instance, but I'm not planning to develop or grow a community on said instance since it's mostly to practice my infra and DevOps skills. My favorite kind of music has been Ska ever since I was a little kid! What kind of music is your favorite?
Mine is when you ask them to think of just one thing, one single solitary thing that could be anything as a fun question. And they go off on just a list of things. You see this shit all of the time for clouting purposes, some of the time....
I'd give people the right to know the names, addresses and all information related to all of the marketers behind the idea of spamming you with commercials and advertisements. Included is the ability to harass them just as much as they do by wasting your time and patience watching their dumb ideas in them....
I don't have immediate plans myself to readily leave the country of the US. I didn't leave when Trump won in 2016, I only moved to a different state during his tenure but not out of the country....
