Hydration Vests. They are becoming more and more used. Not just in Gravel Races but also for Bikepacking.

I e.g. use a Camelbak Chase Vest since 2 or 3 years now (for long single day events but also for races like Badlands) and really like it.

Today Restrap added another option with it’s new Race Hydration Vest:

@tfrank_de @mastobikes I like hydration packs myself, but they can be a problem in mountainous rides when you quickly go from a long hot climb to a chilly descent. No matter what the pack makers do, your back will get sweaty, and then get cold.

Looks like a real solid offering.

I’d really would like to do a test myself between the likes of USWE, Apidura, Camelbak, Evoc etc. Such a test could become crowded quick because some brands offer many variants from super minimalistic to complete daypack with a bladder compartment. I would focus on such vests like this Restrap: main focus hydration with added bikepacking features…
