I just installed eglot for #emacs to use with clangd as the backend. I am a big fan of rtags because it’s super fast and memory efficient, however it’s not maintained anymore. So now eglot it is. Clangd eats memory for breakfast, but what can I do…

I hadn't expected that, #emacs:

(setq my-keymap (copy-keymap global-map))
(define-key my-keymap "\C-cc" 'do-my-thing)
(lookup-key global-map "\C-cc") ; -> do-my-thing

The docs for copy-keymap say that it copies recursively, when an entry in a keymap is another keymap. But they don't mention that the prefix C-c is special, and indirects via 'mode-specific-command-prefix in a confusing manner. Even after a supposedly deep copy, my-keymap and global-map still share a sub-keymap for C-c!
