Does anyone else have to resist the urge to turn every idea they have for a story/setting into a long-fic? Do you succeed & if you do, how?...
If I enjoy, I comment. Otherwise I quietly leave. However, I do comment for different reasons. A story that has me think tends to get longer comments out of me, because I'm busy working myself through the plot/my emotions/something....

One of my favorite tricks when I have been staring at a passage I'm not happy with for too long is to open a separate word document and then trying to capture the idea without limiting myself to just the small string of words I initially set down....
