And creating a new post using Markdown (just in VS Code for testing), works too now. Only text and a link, so no images; have to do some thinking on the image upload since that file has to be on GitHub for the blog to reference / show it.

@js That's a good point! But I should be able to do it with the GitHub API I'm using since I can create new files in a repo; that's what I did for the new text blog post. Thinking of creating a simple web interface for images and text to build a post. If I get stuck though, using Issues could be a workaround.

@kevinctofel ah ok, i mostly use the issue thing to upload images to github for reference in gist md

can even be done in the issue draft composer by itself without ever saving the new issue!

@js Took me a while but I can programmatically upload an image to an 11ty blog repo on GitHub, which can then be linked to (in theory!) in Markdown for a post. 🤓
