Dinosaur frieze on the Joseph Black Chemistry building of Glasgow University. This is one of four animal-based murals tucked away on a rear elevation of this Art Moderne Building.

Why does a chemistry building have animal murals on it? For the benefit of those in the neighbouring Zoology Department, and I suspect few people, other than those who have inhabited the Zoology Building, even know that these murals exist.

@Peternimmo They're tucked away down a dead end between the Joseph Black building and the Graham Kerr Building, where few people ever go. The best view of them used to be from the Regis Professor of Zoology's office in the Graham Kerr building (which may well explain why they are there!), but that was some 30 years ago and the building as been changed a lot since then. You can still get a reasonable view of them from outside in thr lane.
