Wow! I am not sure if I knew you were from where I came from. I was born and raised in SoCal ( Ventura county) and remember hearing my hometown (SP) being mentioned on BBC news that morning.

@ai6yr it’s all a blur and I can’t remember whose tweet alerted me to the Woolsey evacuation order, but bird app was the only information source with no news coverage (due to Borderline and the Hill Fire) and orders were confusing. There were no reverse 9-1-1 calls or knocks on the door. I am at least grateful I knew when I had to evacuate and rely on your posts for emergencies. Thank you!
