I don't usually comment on current #history, but the #collapse of #Haiti is the result of the global community ignoring that Haitians are #people.
Haiti has no functional #government now. The #humanitarian situation is dire.
And what does the former U.S. Under-Secretary of State suggest?
That it's "[...] up to the United States and CARICOM to really identify who’s got to run that place [...]"
But the current situation is due to a foreign-backed government.
He forgets - again - the Haitians.
