Perfume is a bit fainter than my other Hoya but Inigo makes up for it with pretty blooms.
Post pics if you got em! I think mine is my dioscorea elephantipes (at least right now, it changes often). Grown from a seed, she’ll be a year old in July :)
My Pothos got a bit long and dropped leaves in the middle of its stem. I didn’t want to cut it directly since in my experience it would drop more leaves on the newly cut piece, so I wanted to try air layering. I’ve never done air layering before and didn’t want to use sphagnum moss, so I gave it a try with coco coir....
I have a hobby 3d design business where I make things, and I have a lot of planters. When I make a new one the routine is, buy plant, plant it, take pictures, make notes about how well it works or looks....
Context: my mum got some keikis of this orchid from a neighbour. She managed to grow them into a full plant, it even flowered (as per pic), but she has no idea on which species of orchid it is....

My little girl was dying after her first season after being adopted from a local super market. Now she came back to life - stronger than ever!...
Hi. I’m new (as I think we all are). I tried to join, and the “subscribe” button is just text, it doesn’t do anything. Does anyone have the same problem? I’m posting from another instance....
The sensitive plant aka the shame plant...
I think there's probably been about 10 flowers in total. It's a shame they don't stay for longer but it's been lovely to see them!
Sorry if this is the wrong community or is redundant…...
If you have another idea about a plant related poem, let me know in the comments and I’ll see what I can come up with.
Rhypsalis burchellii. Can somebody help me with this little guy? It’s loosing more and more branches. I put it in a warm living room, no change. I out it in a cooler room, nothing. I’m watering it about once a week and the soil dries in between.
I’ve never kept these indoors. It should be interesting to see how they do.
It seems to grow fine, then it gets leggy and the bottom leaves fall off. I cut the tops and plant them and then the cycle repeats....
I’ve been keeping plants for about 5 years and have not bought any meters to track and test light, moisture, temp, ph, and all that. Are these a necessity? I am starting to think that I need these tools to ever get some of my pants to thrive in my dark home which gets pretty cold in the winter. What do y’all think?
My MiL planted a seed from some fruit she had eaten. It kind of looks like a mango to me, but several of the leaves are conjoined. Any ideas?
Hi folks! This is potentially outside the scope of this community but Im hoping some botanistically minded people might be able to help me out here. I have several rose plants on my property and Ive always wanted to harvest the rose hips. The problem is they turn yellow and then rot long before the first frost....
