My home office. I couldn’t do it without my plant friends.
Working from home was a difficult transition for me, but adding plants (and having good light) make all the difference. I thought you folks would approve.

Nathandee, What would be the reason why 12 people downvoted? Just curious. Man is just showing his setup and plants
Cris_Color, God damn thats beautiful!
catlover, is that a keychron keyboard? i have a 75% one, but suprised how the full sized looks cool too. also love the plants and that small vent
Mongorlio, It is a keychron! I tried the 75% one but I need the number pad.
CamilleMellom, Wow it looks so good!
LostCause, So beautiful! I tried to plant basil from the supermarket 3 times and it died 3 times. I wish I had your skills and knowledge to keep so many plants alive.
Nemmies, Keep a plant journal! Write down what a plant needs (light, water, fertilizer, conditions) and then keep a daily log of what you did each day. Also look at your plants daily and you’ll be more likely to notice if it seems to need anything. :)
Twelve20two, It’s beautiful! I want more plants for my apartment, but I have to find some that my cat won’t to nibble on, won’t hurt her if she does nibble anyway, and also isn’t difficult to care for
NoRamyunForYou, Me and my partner love having plants indoors but we get infested with gnats. We’ve tried hydrogen peroxide, and the yellow insect stickies and drying the soil out but nothing seems to work.
Any tips?
Mongorlio, A few things have helped. The yellow stickies have done a lot to slow them down. I’ve also put about an inch of perlite (or vermiculite) on top of the soil as I’ve heard they can’t lay eggs in it. As a last resort I’ve take a few pots outside and totally replaced the soil when nothing else worked.
Once they’ve set in, I’m not sure there’s any winning. All you can do is beat them back.
NoRamyunForYou, Do you think the perlite has helped? Thought about doing this to all our pots.
Mongorlio, I think it helped a bit. Really though, the yellow stickies did the most as long as I kept replacing them as they filled up. I also put many many of these around the plants.
NoRamyunForYou, For some reason, I’m finding that quite a lot of them aren’t ending up on the stickies. Maybe there’s a trick to placing them just right? ¯*(ツ)*/¯
cpt_crunch, This is how my living room is. People always make snide comments like we live in a jungle but it makes it so peaceful. I wish my office was like this! Need my wife to buy more plants lol - something I never thought I’d say
rgb_leds_are_love, This is so beautiful!
Swear to fucking god, if mine were this beautiful, I just won't get any work done!
Narrrz, Lovely! My fiance and I have just (finally) moved into a place of our own, hope i can get it looking like this!
dipbeneaththelasers, Oh holy shit! That's gorgeous.
verdeviento, Lovely, thank you for sharing! For some reason I can’t see any comments in jerboa atm, so please excuse if this has already been asked. What is the tall one on the left, and is it happy to stay away from the light? All office greens complain when they’re not plastered up against a window.
Mongorlio, The tall one on the left is an arabica coffee plant I’ve grown from seed. It’s actually fine with the indirect light from being away from the windows and from the bright lights above.
verdeviento, That makes perfect sense since I think coffee is grown in the understory? How long has it taken to grow to its size? If it’s not too long, I give it a try!
Mongorlio, I think you’re right about the understory. They like indirect partial sun, it seems. I do have a bright light above it as well. I think it took like 5-7 years to get to this point, but that was with some set backs when I was figuring out watering.
verdeviento, Ah thank you for sharing! I may try, it’s a lovely plant.
FlyingSquid, I’m so jealous. I’ve never had a green thumb and we have almost no direct sunlight in our house, so plant growing just is never going to be a thing. But I grew up with a mother and grandparents who filled their houses with plants and I do miss it.
kratoz29, A mix of technology and nature, I like it.
Weezard, Wow! Thats a super nice setup, looks cozy! :)
