A reminder: BlueSky isn’t decentralized until anybody can install a server and run their own node and communicate freely with every other BlueSky user.
Until then it’s just another Jack-associated social network.

Luckily (?) everyone I've seen - so far - with a BlueSky account is one of the Big Tech Names that I follow, and not any of my “I care about this person as a person” people (👋). Here's hoping I don't get unwillingly dragged into a third app…
Also - surely the BlueSky folks have thought about the very obvious two-letter shorthand that their app will referenced by??? 🤔🥴
@drahardja Yeah. I’m interested in the project and am trying to keep an open mind, but I hope people take a wait-and-see approach before sinking a bunch of time and effort into pouring content into it.
If it never fulfills its purported purpose it will have done nothing but detract attention from the Fediverse.
