Very much did not verify this so take with grain of salt, but I read that it was shorthand for a Polish gun. Magazines is then a bit of a double entendre.
A decade back I spent some years running another indie app and the best part was the community helping test and recommend features. It really elevates the quality of a product. Unlike what we're seeing with reddit....
Understandable. I've coded some chat/forum apps before as well as android app stuff. never anything popular though lol. hopefully things go well for you :)
I'm not on ios, but still great to see people making apps for the fediverse. Also this is the first time I'm seeing a kbin thread from lemmy, so I guess kbin has federation working again!

federation has been working slightly and slowly these past few days. nothing speedy. not sure it's 100% back yet? but yes I'm on kbin.social and seeing your comment clearly :)
