What do you say when asked to say something in Japanese?

At break with coworkers today, I mentioned learning Japanese since a bit over a year now. I was then asked to say something in Japanese, but I couldn’t really think of anything good.

On my way home, I formulated a little something that I could say the next time I get asked:

「今月に桜が綺麗です。」

Do any of you have such default sentences, and if so, what are they?

Wilzax,

わかりません、私は日本語が話せないので、このコメントを書くのにグーグル翻訳を使いました。

butsbutts,

hai douzo

hakase,

I always just say 「何か」. They never seem to find it as funny as I do.

e_t_,

すみません、日本語は話しません

sukhmel,

私はほとんど日本語を話せません

Probably the only phrase I can speak coherently

Edit: spelling mistakes

I’m assuming you meant 「私は」 and 「話せません」

sukhmel,

Yeah, I used translate as a keyboard and failed to do that properly

Not Japanese, but I know some Russian and my go to sentence was always ‘what do you want me to say?’
