That wasn't a microwave safe bowl...
I figured it was a 50/50 shot the bowl was microwave safe. We did not eat the beans…

Yoz, Did it melt or break? Where is the bowl?
BallShapedMan, Melted. Where the thicker area is is what’s left of the base of the bowl.
wonderfulvoltaire, Is this the inspiration? youtu.be/Un6Y5E4TOv4?si=nOZCDeq76pFAv6m7
Default_Defect, This guys eatin’ BEANS
Honytawk, Ah, beans
Sho, As is the way of Lemmy, all things revert back to beans.
lugal, wasn’t
So it is now?
BallShapedMan, It’s more of a saucer than a bowl.
grrgyle, F
Pulptastic, Pyrex doesn’t melt like that.
BallShapedMan, It needs a much hotter oven…

This guy figured it out with a normal microwave.
BallShapedMan, Damn, impressive!
hungryphrog, W-where is the bowl?
psycho_driver, It’s made from the same stuff as Wonder Woman’s jet.
LemmyKnowsBest, i might detect a hint of melted styrofoam towards the right of the bean puddle.
empireOfLove2, damnit
you spilled the beans
nicknonya, beans a la polymère
xx3rawr,
FiniteBanjo, Don’t eat that.
soloner, your microwave is so clean! Very nice!
BallShapedMan, Our house cleaner does an amazing job!
bstix, My microwave has the same design, but with it being about 25 years old I got a bit of a shock seeing OPs clean innocent virgin oven.
MossyFeathers, Fyi, there’s no such thing as a microwave-safe plastic bowl. “Microwave safe” just means it won’t melt in the microwave. It’ll still fill your food with microplastics and other chemicals though.
Worx, Glass? Ceramic?
MossyFeathers, Yep. That’s why I said there’s no such thing as a plastic microwave-safe bowl.
Worx, It’s not my fault I can’t read
(sorry)
BallShapedMan, Good point… I should just eat the plastic container on it’s own next time 🤣
