Hi Guys, I bought a 1977 built house which was last sold for $390k in 2019 and I paid $650k. After moving in we found the cabinet drawers were broken and the house had plumbing issues which will cost up to $2k to fix. Surely I am not the only one who had these issues. Anyone else want to share their story ?
Mate you cannot find issues in 5min inspection. I think the whole process needs to be changed but the power is in the hand of real estate agents, not sellers and not buyers. They make and dictate the rules.
Ive been on reddit for more than a decade. Kinda bittersweet, but its not the first time I have moved on from an internet site. I just cant support reddit and sucking up all my posts for AI purposes. Feels terrible and spammy. Ive been a reddit premium holder for many many years....
We need to save people from reddit. Ask other users to join Lemmy. People who create memes should flood Facebook, instagram etc with memes to move to Lemmy
I have noticed that many users are highly technical. I am not technical at all yet I am here because my technical friend showed me how to sign up and which app to use. I think people from marketing background should create guides / poster on how to use Lemmy for people like me who dont have a technical friends.
Lol being the top boss is not easy when you’re a Technical guy. He comes from a technical background hence the sweat. I can relate but these top jobs are best suited for guys from sales coz they know how to talk and play with words.
Google and apple are not same company. Sundar and Steve don’t have the same technical background. Steve bootstrapped the company and scaled it , Sundar was given the CEO role of an established company.
There’s more but I’d suggest you to read and learn and try to become a wise man.

Now that you have settled here on Lemmy. What is your impression of it?
To me it feels like a matured Reddit. (At least most of the time 🙃)
