#Meta offers a no-add subscription for #Facebook and #Instagram in the EU. I think it's a good move. But they charge €10/m while their ad revenue per user is said to be €5.50/m.
It almost looks like Meta is afraid that people would pay for services with their money and not with their privacy. 🤔
@knezi Je mi to jasné. Je to z toho úplně očividné, že je to jenom mechanické splnění minima, co jim nařizuje soud.
Oni se toho bojí, protože by to vyžadovalo fundamentální změnu té služby. Najednou by nebyl zákazník inzerent, ale uživatel a od toho se odvíjí úplně všechno.
@sesivany I paid for that because for various reasons I still need FB. Ads disappeared. But tons of "Suggested for you" stays. So I still keep FB purity plugin.
