strypey,

"We also believe this foundational policy will be ever more important in view of recent breakthroughs in artificial intelligence creating opportunities for the NZ Government to leapfrog and deliver world-class public services to Kiwis. We look forward to continuing to share our cloud and AI policy expertise as well as exploring together how responsible AI deployment can transform Aotearoa in the years to come."

strypey,

Make no mistake folks, this is Rogernomics 2.0. Microsoft and other US DataFarmers want to use Aotearoa as a social laboratory - yet again - for their SmartCountry experiments. Both major political parties are lining up to hold their beer while they f&%k us. I suspect that the 5 Eyes alliance is being used as a lever to make them.

Aotearoa can deploy public service digital tech on our own terms. We must fight for this, we must win.
