OC What cards are you looking forward to playing with when the LotR set comes out?
Looks like there's gonna be a bunch of EDH staples and a bunch of fun cards for other formats. I'm really excited to add Reprieve to my Geist of Saint Traft brawl list
I've preordered what I need to run a budget ish Sarumon the White bird tribal deck.
Definitely been eyeballing a farmer cotton deck that runs cloudstone with either inspiring statuary and/or Fallaji Wayfarer to redeploy cotton multiple times.
@artillect Probably not adding any to my decks because I like to keep UB out of them, but I certainly like the idea of building a couple of the commanders - 4 colour Aragorn and UR Gandalf are especially my jam!
I can totally understand avoiding adding UB cards, personally I don't really mind them (especially in this case). 4C Aragorn looks really fun, but personally I'm more of a fan of W Gandalf. Panharmommycon is a lot of fun, and Gandalf is a big upgrade to it imo. I love Esper too so I'm definitely making a Saruman of Many Three Colors deck too
