I taught in Yoga Studios for a while, as well as smaller, private classes. I facilitated something called Yoga Nidra which is a form of meditation.

I had a large amount of positive feedback and people apparently had all kinds of amazing experiences - but quite often - particularly during the times at Yoga Studios, I was not in a good space myself generally, and the very thing I Ioved doing became more like any old humdrum, regular day job.

On a ‘bad’ day, in my mind, I would imagine a newcomer visiting the class and saying something negative at the end of a session - despite this never happening. :)

In my experience, all pressure us created by a judgmental mindset (which is the default setting for the human mind!) and a lot of the ‘pressure’ is actually a matter of perception - as is everything.

Of course, a lot of situations are extremely challenging, but the only thing we really have dominion over is our perception of these situations.

Changing one’s perception though, can take years of practice. Both our own conditioning , and that of the ‘human collective’ influencing us, runs deep.

However, even a little regular practice can evidence tangible results in small, incremental ways.
