@VeeRat@novid@trendless yes, us too. It's been heart wrenching, relationship changing, constantly researching, immensely challenging work - with a huge amount of privilege from being able to work and care for our kids at home - but none of us have been sick in more than 3 years.

Correct. The price to pay to avoid it though, is simply too high for the vast majority of people. Granted that is an oversimplification of things, as there are structural reasons as well to have gotten where we are now.
@GreySkies@novid a) you can't know that because you can't know how it will affect anyone in the future, even yourself; and b) how does one value life? I believe you're miscalculating of the costs.
Let's talk about how we can help/encourage/support the people around us, how we can help defray their costs, not spread FUD about how expensive it is.
