@Edent I've always used @k9mail on #Android and can't see past past it. Would 100% recommend Terence !

@Edent FairEmail by a long stretch, I don't think the developer sleeps, it's a brilliant feature rich and privacy conscious app that leaves a lot of desktop apps wanting.

@Edent I used FairEmail for a while (which has really really too many settings), but @k9mail is starting to get better step by step, so I'm using this right now.

@Edent As an alternative to K9-Mail, I use FairEmail and could not be happier. A bit different to K9-Mail in UI and style, but also powerful and great application.

@Edent K9-Mail is the best one I've found so far- it's now part of the Thunderbird family, and appears to be getting a bit of a facelift in recent updates, making the UI more friendly.

Hummm, interesting. I barely ever touch email on my phone but have been using K9 for those very few occasions.

Mostly coz it seemed small and simple not huge and over engineered like that Thunderbird I stopped using on Desktop years ago.

@markusl @neil @Edent @k9mail I used K9 for a bit (quite) a while back, but it had some issues then. Did you ever find a way to disable HTML email completely? iirc the other issue that drove me away from it was it kept auto-downloading email no matter how many times I tried turning that off.
