I know i can use adblock in safari but the problem is with safari you can only watch 720p
I know i can use adblock in safari but the problem is with safari you can only watch 720p
ColdWater, Other than jailbreak I don’t really know I haven’t use IOS in years
Teritz, I use Safari on IPadOS with many Plug ins Sponsorblock and AdBlock
Poi_Poi_Poi, I just bought YouTube premium in turkey for like 1€ a month. Is working fine for over a year now. I obviously created another Google account for that
zedricxks, use sideloadly sideloadly.io and download the ipa from here: github.com/arichorn/uYouPlusExtra once you set it up all you need is to literally open sideloadly once a week on your pc/mac and hit refresh while the iphone/ipad is connected to the same wifi. apple doesnt let you add apps for longer than week unless you pay to be a developer so a 30second job to refresh the app and ur done.
smyth, Drive-by thanks for this, though I did kill some time getting it to work. Any fav IPAs?
Quik, Delta is an impressive Game Emulator not normally allowed in the App Store and Enmity is a nice Discord client modification
zedricxks, no worries. i use infuse (suffuse on github) and then this repo has alot of ipas github.com/swaggyP36000/TrollStore-IPAs the retroarch or delta game emulator dolphini is a dolphin emulator apollo reddit sideloaded being brought back fromt eh dead for reddit balackburn.github.io/Apollo/ but i always have suffuse youtube apollo and i rotate in and out the myfitnesspal app thats cracked. take a look at the trollstore ipe link it has alot. also the sideloaded subreddit has many
ultratiem, Install Vinegar: apps.apple.com/ca/app/…/id1591303229
Pulls the actual video file from YT, stripping ads, overlays, and anything else YT shoves into them. Literally a game changer on Apple devices.
Pulp, Sideload or jailbreak depending on device
eek2121, I use Yattee. It should be on the app store. Requires a bit of setup, but works great.
splendoruranium, Firefox with uBlock Origin - works and always has been working on every device that allows you to install 3rd party browsers.
eek2121, iOS browsers use safari as the backend.
Normal Firefox extensions don’t work.
splendoruranium, Huh, well that sucks.
NateSwift, Not on iOS unfortunately
AndreyAsimow,
floridaman,
Im28xwa, Weird firefox automatically redirected me to the non amp link
cccc, Brave removes ads.
But also… it’s Brave which I’m learning is not the most ethical choice.
ruben, Why not Firefox with uBlock Origin?
eek2121, Firefox on iOS is reskinned safari. Normal Firefox extensions don’t work.
Anders429, As someone very uninformed about Brave, what is unethical about it?
Evkob, Their weird crypto rewards system is what turns me off the most.
smyth, Pretty easy to ignore it. I use it off and on.
cccc,
Gamey, There are ways to sideload apps on iOS but I think you need a Macbook to do so, I had a iPhone once because I got it for free and I will never touch one of those ever again!
Pulp, You can use Windows or Linux too
Gamey, Interesting, seems like there is a Linux app now too, well still not a fan of externak devices just to sideload but luckily the EU will improve that with the Digital markets act I guess
hogart, You can pay for the adfree service and use the normal YouTube app.
butter, Walk the plank
KrimsonBun, No.
ZeroHora, Youtube: Pay me to have an AD free experience. User: Ok Youtube: But I’ll still collect data and sell it to have profit. User: WHAT A DEAL!
hogart, Son doesn’t have to see ads while watching his cartoons. Worth.
ruben, No
AndreyAsimow, You mean YouTube Premium?
hogart, I know this is /c/piracy but I feel YT Premium has its benefits. You get the music service as well. Spotify is better, yes, but YT Music is good enough and the family can have an ad free YouTube experience. My 5 y/o can watch cartoons without getting ads in his face.
wolfshadowheart, It's $18 on iOS. My partner pretty much only uses YT and still can't justify paying that much for it.
jcrabapple, LibreTube
mp3, Not available on iOS
Justly0250, Revanced
Pulp, Please don’t guess answers
Justly0250, Newpipe x sponsorBlock
jcrabapple, Ditch iOS if you want more control over your phone.
Justly0250, I was actually highlighting all the popular options for ad free YouTube on Android.
jcrabapple, I know.
aman25ta, Try sideloading uYou+
veloute, on iOS?
Bahalex, On iOS
Look for altstore or similar
NicoCharrua, If you’re willing to go through the pain of sideloading on iOS and you’re ok with giving a random app your Google account, uYou+ is pretty good.
Quik, *And if you’re okay with having a Google account, because you need one in the app, but not on the website
