mindcool24,

I've once again started development on my rogue-like engine/game that I've been working on for about a year now, and I am slowly figuring out once again how I want to structure it. I'm writing it in C++ and Lua, using Lua as a scripting language to create game content and such. So far, I have written a simple registry system for creating new entities and tiles, and I am currently working on items. C++ gives Lua the registry functions, and lua is able to create instances of C++ classes that I create that can be used in the game as entities, items, and tiles. I'm hoping to keep with this structure and continuing to develop on it for the future, and I'm hoping to get a playable (meaning you can control your character lol) result out soonish as well, and publish my source code.

#c++ -development -dev
