VCs and tech journalists on LinkedIn keep hyping the idea of a super app for the US and EU markets.

A super app would give a company I already get a mediocre experience from the ability to ensure all of my digital experiences are mediocre. No thanks.

@Jeremiah 💯 Companies continue to try it in the US and EU, and as you say it ends up being mediocre. FB has been trying this for years.

There's several challenges in the EU and US including stronger regulations, desired privacy, and the desire for audiences management. Even if the experience was amazing, I suspect it still wouldn't succeed there.
