Schelte,

Booking interrail passholder reservations for the Porto-Vigo train: a short guide.

These reservations are free (€0!), and - contrary to all other Portuguese trains - can be booked by Renfe ticket offices. Not surprising, as regular tickets for this train can also be booked online from Renfe's site. Don't get fooled by staff that tell you they can't (as happened to us in Cáceres this morning).

However, when Renfe ticket office staff book them, they get pdf e-tickets, which they often can't print (unless they have a regular printer available). If they can't and they don't know what to do, simply ask for the booking reference and print them yourself from a Renfe self-service machine. That somehow works.

@Schelte That’s new. I got one - for free - at the ticket office in Vigo Guixar last year but printed as a regular ticket.
