@daringfireball I have a blue/orange bracelet from Juuk that goes nicely with the blue series 6 - I haven’t seen one from them that I thought would go well with the ultra in titanium, but a dark has a lot more options that I think will go well. Looking forward to it since I’m ready for the upgrade.
@daringfireball re the Twitter/X footnote: can we place bets on them configuring a catastrophic (if brief) redirect loop? I wouldn’t take that at even odds, but a Saturday night decree to “just get it done!” is exactly the situation where it’s impossible to manage a coherent rollout. (Odds are at least up there with letting the SSL certs expire. You can only dodge so much stupid when you’re optimizing your eng/ops processes for stupid.)
@daringfireball@gruber you reckon they may bring back titanium for the non-Ultra models? I love titanium on my Series 6 but I am not a big fan of the rugged Ultra look.
@thebigpiro I hope they do bring it back for Series 9, but I’m guessing no, that titanium is now exclusive to Ultra (and Ultra is only available in titanium).
@daringfireball I just want it to be available in a smaller size. But I’ll settle for bringing back a Ti edition. That’s the main reason I didn’t upgrade my S6 last year…the only titanium watch was the Ultra and my dainty wrists simply can’t support it. (Yes, I’d have use for a smaller Ultra; I do things like 50mi bike rides with workouts running)
