After completing this series I immediately picked up the prequel novella and I'd say it didn't disappoint. This is where it all began when Mr. Marlowe was opening the castle and the village was coming to life. His colleague Aaron Thompson is thrilled to help until he discovers the woman he left behind, Estelle Blair is in charge of directing performances at the village's amphitheatre.
