Arguing that your kids should be exempted from lessons on topics based on your beliefs is a ridiculous thing to insist.
If your children are so impressionable that simply teaching them a different perspective is enough to break them, you have already failed as a parent. The ability to reason and decide for themselves is a hallmark of good education and parenting.
