I admit, Matthias made me curious :-)

Here's mine:

I want to connect with clients who are emotionally intelligent, who want to feel more free, creative, powerful, authentic, but are held back by old patterns for surviving that have made them forget they can thrive.

@deborahh Wow, that's a challenge for my method, Deb! 👀

To make it a bit easier to find these women online, could you rephrase this in the women's own words?

Are there any role names or labels these women would use for themselves? (e.g. someone in a certain job role, or family role, or role within their community...).

Does the problem they are facing have a frequently used name or phrase for it?

@admin LOL. As I haven't wrestled with suc questions a hundred times, myself, already 🤣

As a life coach, I coach humans, help them be more vibrantly themselves (each one different) and move toward what makes them joyful and satisfied (unique and widely varying goals). It makes niche-based marketing kind of a non-starter :-(

@deborahh Ah, I see. The "humans" will be superhard to find. :-)

I would suggest to narrow the humans down to some niche to make them easier to find. For example, wouldn't it be sufficient if you find 5 new clients in a certain niche, then try another niche?

Example: Women who lead a team or even a department in a company? Or, e.g. they are the mayor of a town?

I have no idea, just fiddling around with some examples here.

@deborahh Ah, another idea: You said they have varying goals.

What if you niche down by frequently seen goals?

@admin yes, that's where my thinking is going, too. And when they visit my site, it will resonate, because they are human :-) Website resonates with broad audience, marketing initiative targets one segment after another. 👍

@deborahh So cool! What do think in the meantime, which niche would you like to start with? What kind of person could benefit from your coaching so that you want to create a marketing campaign around their needs?

deborahh,
@deborahh@mstdn.ca avatar

@admin I just attended an excellent class that's helping me think about my dresm offer. This will help me clarify who I want to reach. So the work continues, slowly 🙂 Just letting you know, I've not forgotten your question!

@admin@m.bohlenlabs.com avatar

@deborahh Cool! Did you get my calendar invite for tomorrow’s coaching session? Should be in your email from a few days ago. Can you make it?

deborahh,
@deborahh@mstdn.ca avatar

@admin you know what I like about this line of questioning? You are not telling me to narrow my niche (so bored of that) but to narrow my niche *for a given marketing initiative" ... and it seems it's about communicating with those people more directly, not revamping my whole web presence (nightmare scenario) to present a given narrow niche.
Does this sound compatible with your approach?

admin,
@admin@m.bohlenlabs.com avatar

@deborahh Exactly. You find those clients in a certain niche, but that is about them, not about you. At least until you want it to be otherwise, of course. :-)

It sounds quite compatible with my approach.
